not bad. but i'd give goal of the day to shaqiri for his second strike. beaut of a chip.

No doubt. Half volley on a full out run. The degree of difficulty was off the charts. Everton got screwed by that bad PK call though.

Well obviously but still fortunate and doesn't take away the fact it shouldn't have counted

Offside calls are incorrectly officiated multiple times in every game. There was also at least 1 penalty against Watford that wasn't called and they should have been playing with 9 men due to Ighalo's deliberate elbow. Spurs definitely deserved the 3 points.

Never said they didn't, just that it was an incredibly obvious missed call as it wasn't close. I wasn't taking it any farther than that.

No Premier League matches being played this weekend as many of the Premier League sides are playing in the 3rd round of the FA Cup this weekend (For those interested in watching, the matches will be shown on FS1, FS2, and Fox Soccer Plus). There are some mid-week Premier League matches in the middle of next week and I'll post those match schedules around then.

Lots of good mid-week matchups: Arsenal-Liverpool, City-Everton, LC-Spurs (hey, didn't we just do that?)

LVG on the razor's edge. Win tomorrow or else.

Great to see Payet back in action today and he starts right where he left off. He's fun to watch. West Ham didn't drop down as much as I expected while he was injured. If he continues his top class form maybe West Ham make a run at the top 4?

Bunch of good matches today. Big games for the leaders and interesting matchups otherwise. And, yes, Payet is the real deal. Hammers are a darkhorse.

Tough game for Spurs to lose. At least Liverpool equalized at the end to minimize the impact.

Palace need Bolasie to come back sooner rather than later. We have been punching a little above our weight for the first half of the season and we need to respond vs. city or spurs. Also, fantastic game between Arsenal and Liverpool unfortunately I had class and missed the first five goals.

i missed the whole match but it sounded pretty entertaining. in the overall scheme not a bad result considering 'pool beat both lester and city once each so far.
