Rumors surfacing that Everton has been sold to American John Jay Moores (former owner of SD Padres).

No Premier League matches this weekend as quite a few of the squads are taking part in the 4th round of the FA Cup. This includes Manchester United (who defeated Derby County today), Spurs, Arsenal, Watford, Bournemouth, Liverpool, West Ham, Everton, and Chelsea. They'll have mid-week matches again next week which I'll post then. Matches this weekend will air on FS1, FS2, and Fox Soccer Plus.

It's scary to think what he could do with the talent at Man City.

And speaking of Man City, De Bruyne is out for 10 weeks. I think they will still end up as champions, but that is a big blow.

they're going to need some younger faces in there. besides mangala and otamendi, the experienced defenders are 29+ and it's starting to show.

This is simply not true. Most cable & satellite companies broadcast the Live Extra matches. Just because it is not on the NBCSN station does not mean that it is not airing on TV. For me, I have DirecTV and the games are shown on the channels in the 490s.

I guess I should have prefaced it by saying on regular TV and not on overflow channels.

It's sad that you guys in America get more games than we get here in the UK.

Everton won 3:0 at Stoke today in a match that was pretty well decided by halftime. This is the 4th straight Premier League match where Stoke has been shutout.

Also, how about the story of the Liverpool fans leaving Anfield during the 77th minute of today's match vs. Sunderland as part of a protest of ticket prices being upped to 77 pounds (about $112).
