open question: what does LVG need to do in order to save his job? or is there no hope and he should just throw in the towel now?

One thing's for sure, Mourinho's going to have a huge warchest this summer.

I agree, but if they miss out on Champions League (which looks very likely) are they really going to be able to get the caliber of player they need to bounce back? They're consistently linked with players like Neymar and Bale, but would those type of players really choose to join a team out of the CL? I

Nothing, based on all the reports over here. He's done. They report and print in the papers as if it's already a done deal. EDIT: I do recall a report a few weeks ago where he offered to resign but the board rejected it. Probably was the end of January timeframe.

with the number of injuries to united, arsenal stand a good chance at a consecutive yearly win at old trafford.

Couple of Everton notes from the weekend:

-Tim Howard looks to be heading to the Colorado Rapids in MLS and will head back to the states in July and looks like he'll be signed to a deal through 2019; Here's hoping that Robles is ready to take control in goal
-Billionaire Farhad Moshiri is set to become the new majority shareholder of the club once approved by the Premier League; Moshiri is a former shareholder for Arsenal

LC tied yesterday. Huge game for Tottenham today. If they win, they move atop of the table.

Spurs lose at Wast Ham. Arsenal loses at home to Swansea. Man City currently getting throttled 3-0 by Liverpoool. :noidea:

Tottenham not to finish Top 4 currently trading at 14-1. I would put $50 on that if I could.

Glad I have this on record. The roof is going to cave in on Spurs' head. Too small of a squad, too many games, too physically demanding of a style of play, too many teams chasing.

They'll finish 5th. Maybe even 6th if Liverpool keeps playing like that.
