i didn't see the play but breaking a leg is pretty brutal. no way he'll be back by the end of the campaign as lvg hopes.

Dinamo Zagreb had never beaten a Premier League opponent...until today. Nice showing, Gunners. Giroud is a complete moron.

#104
Yeah not a good showing for the England clubs. Chelsea the only winner but their opponent Maccabi Tel Aviv would probably lose New Castle and Sunderland.

#105
As a City fan I was a bit upset after yesterday's lose but it was Juventus. Still a winnable group. They have to play Monchengladbach next and then a home and home with Seville.

I don't know how Chelsea somehow get the easiest group pretty much every year. It's kind of annoying because playing a Bayern or Real Madrid would be much more exciting. But at the same time, it's good because it gives us a chance to play our youngsters. Loftus-Cheek was really fun to watch today.

Costa should have gotten a 2nd yellow card. The ref ruined the game. The league needs to crack down on Costa: short leash, little or zero tolerance. Sick of this BS.

I'm no fan of Costa, but claiming the ref ruined the game is just wrong. Continued retaliation right in front of the ref is what got Gabriel sent off. It wasn't even a second yellow - the ref gave him a straight red. Refs naturally don't see everything, but when you're stupid and do something like he did when the ref is standing right next to you, you're gonna get sent off.

I don't have a problem w/the red card on Gabriel. I have a problem w/Costa.

So - the ref ruined the game by not giving a second yellow to Costa? Warranted or not, the failure to give a second yellow hardly ruins the entire game. Is Costa a whiner and an instigator? Yes. Would I want him on my team? No. But, he's only one of 22 players on the pitch.

You sure you wouldn't want him on your team? I think he's the type of player you love to play with but hate to play against.

Going down a man, especially with that much time left, pretty much ruined the game for Arsenal and me.

The other thing is Koscielny flopped when Diego got in his face. Diego barely touched him. If Koscielny doesn't flop, Gabriel doesn't come over and none of this takes place. And let's be honest, Arsenal looked like they quit once the red card was giving. They didn't even try to chase the game.

south koreans haven't really been that impressive in the premier league, especially at scoring. Ji-Sung Park is probably the most successful with 19 goals in 133 appearances for man-u. curious to see if Son can break that trend.

Son had 2 goals in the European match on Thursday and the winner today vs Palace. He's quickly becoming a fan favorite.

For sure, Koscielny flopped. But Costa did not barely touch him. Costa should've been carded for that 100%. No place for that nonsense.

I can see why. Great run on the goal. Seems like a dynamic player. I was pretty skeptical too, but Son is proving me wrong thus far.

jose can't claim the refs are campaigning against him anymore.

Anyone here pick up FIFA 16 for PS4? I played several games last night in the new FUT Draft mode and really enjoyed it. The pace and passing seem to have been refined a bit from last year.

I realize this is the Premier League thread, but Lewandowski just scored 5 goals in 9 minutes vs. Woflsburg. And #5 was a killer volley. Insane!!
