Didn't even think about NBC having to deal with the Olympics and Premier League at the same time. Glad they are still able to show the matches. Awesome job NBC (even though your Olympic coverage is frustrating sometimes).

You mean the stuff that's packaged between the commercials? As great as NBC's coverage of the EPL is, their Olympic coverage has been mediocre.

Gunners closing on Mustafi. With Merteseker out, they sorely need a CB.

Very high on Xhaka. Should be a top mid.

Can't wait 'til tomorrow.

Good for Hull City. Still think they're going to have a hard time staying up.

Hope Solo: no bueno.

Yeah it seems like more times than not a newly promoted team plays well in the first couple games. OTOH, Leicester looked quite rusty. If Mahrez stays I think they challenge for a Europa League spot. If he leaves then they probably finish around 10th.

Lynden Gooch is starting for Sunderland! 20 year old American midfielder. He's been in their youth system for a few years now.

Anyone else sick of the Premier League graphic they insist on putting up on every replay?

I wonder how serious the Lloris injury is? I know there are a couple Spurs fans on here, how good is Vorm?

One of the most quality backups in the league but having him starting for 4-5 weeks doesn't comfort me at all.

Wenger's going to be sacked. This is ridiculous. Gunner's CBs are a joke. Where the hell is Xhaka?

Hats off to the Reds though. Coutinho is very, very good.
