it’s a matter of reading deeper than just message board fodder. In the Golden case, you have multiple women making accusations which involve texts and photographs sent to them. Now i suppose it’s possible that a group of women who don’t appear to know each other could conspire and make up an incredible story and falsify a plethora of photos and texts, but believing that strains credulity. It’s even less likely that multiple women would claim to have “receipts” in the form of texts and photos when they don’t.
It’s also important to note that this was a Title 9 investigation. Under the first Trump administration, it was deemed that an investigation such as this one could not go forward as it would be a violation of the accused right to free speech. In essence, sending Dick pics and stalking photos would be considered within the accused’s First Amendment rights. That of course is ludicrous, so the Biden Administration reversed that. However, Florida filed an injunction, so it currently operates under the first Trump Administration ruling. So when the University of Florida said it found no grounds for investigation, it’s saying “we currently have no legal grounds to investigate the coach’s first amendment right to send dick pics.”
Compare that to TSJ’s case, which was laughably absurd from the start. The police report was written one month after the fact, had conflicting charges and was backdated incorrectly. It was a cacophony of errors from the start.
So I suppose it’s possible that Todd Golden is the victim of a grand conspiracy. But that doesn’t pass the smell test of logic. Much like the charges against TSJ didn’t either.
