What's a bad take? Saying that Humrichous is not starter worthy? He isn't... Tell me why he is. I'd love to hear your points on what he's done. I mean it surely couldn't be his rebounding or defensive prowess, right?

happy Harris is getting a ton of tick. hope his shot comes around.

My favorite player in college basketball. Loved seeing him in Orange and Blue and will always cheer for a player who gives that level of effort on defense. He can single-handedly shut down any team that relies on a stud guard and hope he catches a few teams by surprise in the NCAA tourney, just so long as it's not us.

such a fan, not sure how he would fit in on this team and who he would take minutes from but that length on D and scrap in his game I admire. 0-13 from three is alarming, but hopefully he can turn that around.
Brad’s honed in on players who can shoot the three point shot. The Illini coaches instituted a shift towards analytics, spacing, and speed, and a particularly heavy emphasis has been placed on the value of the three-point shot: using metrics and calculations of three point shooting and Harris doesn’t fit the criteria.

Underwood has adapted and adapted as the program has regrown to a top destination. I say adapted twice because in addition to evolving with the game and the players he's been able to bring in, there's a ton of changes that have happened in college athletics and this program behind the scenes. Lot of fans, supporters and boosters making the program a success in addition to all the front line players and coaches.

That is very misleading. Georgetown has beatin nothing but cupcakes. Notre Dame destroyed them. Georgetown may win 12-13 games this year.
So, they're improving?

I was at the State Farm Center pregame really early with one of my daughters before the Michigan State (I think) game. Andre came over and chatted up my daughter. I asked him how he was doing. He responded only with, "Birds aren't real." I still don't know if he was serious or not, but I have liked him and wished him the best ever since that day.
It's an internet meme:

Will always be one of my favorite players. He doesnt fit the roster offensively but damn i wouldnt have minded seeing like 10 mins a game of him and boswell putting the absolute clamps on our b10 opponents. Theyd probably make a couple of the iowa players cry and whine like bohannon and fredrick a few years ago

I want to say he was obviously joking, but when there is a not-so-insignificant amount of people that think the Earth is flat, who knows anymore.
But Kyrie Irving went to that esteemed private academic institution Duke, and Kyrie says the earth is flat, so what would us ILLINI flatlanders know???

Duke awards Kyrie Irving honorary science degree for his work on Flat Earth Theory

Kyrie Irving didn't graduate from Duke and doesn't plan on doing so anytime soon, but he will now receive an even more prestigious honor from the University.

Duke will present Irving with an honorary science degree for his innovative work on the Flat Earth Theory after first raising the possibility that the earth is flat on a podcast in February 2017. He has since provided supporting evidence for the idea, eschewing the findings of elitist academic journals in favor of more believable Instagram accounts.

"I'm glad that the school that still claims me as one of its own even though I only played 11 games there is ahead of the curve at embracing what I think is the beginning of a major shift in public opinion about our planet," Irving said. "I encourage everybody to do their own research to form an opinion before believing what you hear about the earth. It only takes 15 minutes of your time. Seriously, that's how much time I spent on it."
