I love the idea for this thread! Every season I spend time trying to remember who transferred, then google them, check their stats, etc. This will be one stop shopping if we all share what we find.Someone threw out this idea in another thread. I'm sure that they're dead to some, but I like to keep an eye on former Illini.
Off the top of my head:
BBV at South Carolina
Grandison at Duke
Podz at Santa Clara
Curbelo at St. John's
Payne at Jacksonville
Hamlin at EIU
I think Jalen Coleman-Lands was finally forced out of college hoops
Anyone else I'm missing?
Tevian Jones is using his Covid year at Southern Utah
Of course articles like that will always make the player look great, but it really does sound like he’s done some growing up. Who would of guessed getting a few years older would have that effect.SUU Men’s Basketball Player Profile: Tevian Jones - Southern Utah University Athletics
CEDAR CITY, Utah - After two stellar seasons playing for Southern Utah, Tevian Jones contemplated turning pro; but, he decided that after missing the end of lastsuutbirds.com
Sure he will get some time....hope he plays well...We'll get to see Jermaine Hamlin tomorrow night. Don't think that he starts for EIU though.
And Dee BrownAs is former Illini forward Roger Powell.
I recently heard that Lucas is a VP of engineering at Gloo (whatever that is).I wouldnt mind updates on guys not playing or coaching anymore. Is Lucas Johnson selling insurance? Is Mike Tisdale still working at Scheels in Springfield? What is the latest on Jereme Richmond? I only know about Richard Keene at this point (because he is my cousin).
A real Gloo guyI recently heard that Lucas is a VP of engineering at Gloo (whatever that is).

They got a good one. Hopefully the change of scenery will help him refocus himself. Too bad it didn't work out here but I will still root for him unless, of course, they are playing the Beloved.Belo with 8 pts on 3-3 shooting (1-1 3pt!), 4 assists, 2 steals and 4 TO in the first half, St. John's up 51-30.
I'm rooting for all of our former players but Belo for me is like the kid that you can't admit is your favorite but it's kinda obvious to everyone. They got a good one. Jalen Coleman-Lands and Charlie Moore certainly saw a lot of the countryFor me JCL had ceased to be a former Illini. I think it was right around his 4th or 5th school.
The way you said this... ...As is former Illini forward Roger Powell.
Saw that with 9 boards. Good for him, he will have success there and then ay in a country with stein on the end most likelyPodz scores 30 for Santa Clara in first game.
