Might be one of the worst Illini teams in my lifetime. Was just masked by the terrible non-conference schedule

It seems to me that the worst defense is coming in transition. If Illinois makes shots, that's less of an issue.

Though, as I type this, Melo just drove in for a layup on a set D. So.... I dont know anything.

Illinois non-conference schedule was rated # 22 toughest.... so be careful when you say "terrible" without facts to back it up

I'm not sure that's correct. Have there been rumors that Whitman feels that way? It's not ideal but might be a dagger. The apathy in this fan base is already as low as I've ever seen it.

I don't care if a player grades out in practice with an A every day. If they stink in the games they shouldn't play.

If you are not running offense and shooting a long beyond NBA range 3 pointer you need to sit ASAP. The fact that doesn't happen is on the Coach. Pull him out let him sit and bring in someone else who will run the offense.

Have said this before but any player that has played as many games in Div. 1 as many of our players should be much better at defense. Coaching is not occurring.
