We have not been the same since the opposing teams put their center on him. It’s kills out offensive rebounds and our points in the paint with a big camping all day.

I am fine passing to Ty...but he is who our opponents want our squad to go througn
again... who is going to play instead? We have a lineup of 6-7 guys. Ty isn't the problem. Our team defense is.

day, so I’m a negative Nancy tonight. This team, without TSJ, doesn’t move the needle for me. They’re more aesthetically pleasing compared to last season, but with their only “good” win coming against a cratering FAU team, I do not see this being the team to make it past the second weekend of the tourney.

Man it is just crazy how this season has gone to pot. All I think about is what could have been
Agreed, but the way this team is playing tonite, he would have probably missed both free throws. Lol.

Clearly the better team when we want to be, but here we are again up 1. Absolutely no defense even being attempted. Frustrating

We need to play better on defense in a hurry. Too many players struggling on that end if the floor.

We looked focused and energetic early, so this isn’t just an off day. I’m cautiously optimistic we come out and build on the lead.
Moretti, Harmon. Put Ty at his natural position. Underwood is stubborn though so we’ll see this for the rest of the season.

I agree… but on the whole I am shocked at how little impact the refs have had and our three team fouls, so I can let that one slide.
Left end of the curve on defense and right end on offense. Pretty much a nyaaaa half of basketball.
I did like the deliberate purposeful offense but too many defensive blunders and Michigan circus shots kept it close. This game does not have to be close if Illini can show a tad more focus and effort on defense.

This will be a completely different game in the second half with whistles every other play. History informs the future.
