Well, we need to get better at free throws lol. Crazy we played as bad as we did and we have 35 at half.

I haven’t been anywhere near as high on DGL taking a step forward as some people on here, but he has looked good.

This is a perfect scrimmage for this team. The matchup and hard nosed defense Ole Miss plays is exactly how to challenge a big, but slower team.

Hoping we adjust second half. It’s just a scrimmage but I want to win lol

It’s weird, despite getting killed I am taking a lot of positives away from this.

I think that's because the 3 point shooting is the difference in the game right now. If shooting percentages were equal, game would be neck and neck. A lot of good and a lot of bad so far. Ole Miss is ranked, they're a good team, old/experienced team. I like playing tougher competition in exhibitions because it gives you a chance to work on things in a game situation against a competent opponent, and you can do/try/work on some things you otherwise might not if the result actually counted.

-- Ole Miss defense has been stellar (suffocating). Sorta like Loyola-Chicago in the 2021 NCAA tournament.
-- It may take awhile for us to build overall team chemistry
-- KJ and Ivisic look to be pretty solid; seems they'll need to be on the court a lot

A fair amount can be said about that half, but the absolute stone-cold lock is that we need Tomi to be eligible. A lot is resting on that decision.

So our shooting has struggled. Bit of that has been bad shot selection, end of clock stuff. We are very much struggling against their aggressive defense so this has been great for them to experience. This was a smart team to pick to exhibition against.
