Still a huge improvement over Lovie for changing the culture here so I think it'll always go down as a good hire but I think people expected way too much after last year.

Hate to simplify a complicated issue, but … why are we so bad? I honestly don’t think it’s Bret. Purdue lost more than we did. Is Walters really that essential? Did our offense go from a B+ to a C+ and we’re just seeing the defense drop down to around the same level?

I’m not a football guru, and I’ll admit that. But I’m at a loss. I watched this with a Purdue fan who assured me for hours that they sucked … sick of being the “medicine” for struggling teams.
