Seriously worrying about Belo. He did play several good games after coming back from concussion protocol, but in more cases he didn't seem to fit in the team. Many careless plays leading to turnovers, and much fewer Belo-style ingenious passes.
Yes. Time for staff and players to decide what they want from this year. Are they done or really "think they can win it all?" Tired of hearing how well we are practicing and bringing it every day when it's not being brought to the games with the exception of the first Purdue game really.

I know Rutgers is hot right now, but we look really bad in both effort and execution tonight. We better fix this or March will be a very short month for Illinois basketball.
I'm not complaining, but the Illini are not the 12th best team in the country. There are just a lot of good teams. Going 2-3 in their next 5 games would not be a surprise.

Curbelo really hasn’t made that jump we were hoping for. And even considering the concussion I don’t think he improved anyway
I mean 5-4 over the past month isn't whipped but it's pretty mediocre. Especially when you consider the MSU game we nearly lost, as well as the two NW games.
