Glass half full: we have had an uncharacteristically bad last 40 minutes shooting the basketball (I’m talking Houston Rockets Game 7 bad), and we have more or less weathered the storm. Don’t overlook how our defense has kept us in reach… come off the ledge everyone.

Our guards are being physically dominated. The Rutgers guards are just bigger and more physical. Illinois is being pushed outside offensively and Rutgers can get any shot they want.

We're a good team and Rutgers is playing well. But this has been one of the worst halves of basketball that we've played all year. Lucky not to be down by 30. Not sure why we look so slow and tentative. Looks like we forgot to pack our effort, rebounding, and defense. Hope Brad has something to say to the fellas at half.
