He has been our best player lately. He doesn't have the high TO games that he did early in the season. Hope we can keep him for 2024.

At some point, regardless of the number of yearly conference victories, someone is going to have to ask if Brad is the right coach to get this team to the next level. I'm not saying he's a bad coach, but as far as the Tournament what has he achieved? Ever since the Loyola fiasco, Illinois has not been competitive when it counts.

If I were the AD, I would insist that he get someone on staff to coach these kids on FT shooting mechanics, how to run purposeful offense that will counteract every choice a defense makes, and the value of ball possession over highlight finishes....in other words, do what the elite teams do.

Ever wonder why our 3 pt. shooters are contested most of the time while the paint is completely empty? And on the other end, our opponents shoot mostly uncontested threes?
