We have 9 offensive rebounds compared to 2 for them. Gotta believe that will start to show eventually.

Really liked the way we played this half. Shots just weren't falling.

So much better than yesterday. Hoping to see a lot of TJL in the second half. Amazing what being an offensive threat can do for a PG

And honestly... above anythign else i've seen over the last few years...if anything does Groce in is his inability to trust new players. It happened when nunn and malcolm were freshman... it happened again and again and again. Just don't get it

You have to think he has seen the positives of playing TJL versus Tate almost every time they play in the same game thus far this season.

If Groce is indeed coaching for his job, TJL should be playing 25 minutes a game.

Also, FSU has some BEASTS inside. Wow.

Finke is in a rough patch. He'll snap out of it eventually.

This is totally a winnable game! They just have to make the stupid bunnies.

Neither team played well at all. Both teams can go into the half thinking they can play so much better and win.

"And to their credit..... I suppose... " Haha, so much shade from ESPN

This is refreshing after yesterday to say the least. Time for Malcolm and JCL to go off in the 2nd half.

Got to give the boys time to get up to speed to be successful. Tate initially got more minutes as a freshman than Nunn and Hill because they weren't ready. As the year went on they eventually started. As Lucas shows he can put in quality minutes he will be the guy.

I really like what I'm seeing from TJL so far.

Illinois has only committed three turnovers. Huge improvement there, yet a half remains. They are still in it.

Don't believe that at all.... as a P5 coach.... if you cannot see you are playing 4 on 5 everytime tate steps on teh court and you have a talented freshman on the bench, you throw him in and see if he sinks or swims.... especially if what youre doing at that time is NOT working.

I agree. We know JCL can be a sharp shooter. Let's hope he catches fire the second half.

Hey! 27-30 at the half isn't bad. We've got a chance against a top 25 team

"Florida State hasn't shown the ability to separate so far. Even with......just 3 turnovers, from Illinois." Lol....what?

Leading them in offensive rebounding is a key stat. Despite FSU's size inside, to see the Illini lead in this category is fantastic.

Shots will fall. Illini have to keep shooting.
