#Illini get a few players back from injuries today vs. Indiana including DTs Kenyon Jackson and Tito Odenigbo, RB Reggie Corbin and LB Tre Watson. But QB Cam Thomas, RB Ra'Von Bonner and WRs Mike Dudek and Malik Turner are out. Dudek's done for the year.

Why is Thomas out? Yikes. I remember him going to the locker room at the end of the game last week. Turner being out is also no bueno, but he was playing with a significant limp to end the game last week. These injuries blow.

Did I miss something? What is Dudek's injury? I quickly googled it and only saw articles from past two years.

Lucky break there for JG should be 7-0

Unfortunately I don't think we can count on Dudek being healthy moving forward longer term.

play calling is very confusing. We've been running with good success - why pass on 1st down, why on 3rd and 3?

The offense is just so frustrating to watch. With the injuries the wideouts we have can't get open. I don't know how they score today except on defense. We have run the ball effectively a few times but they can't do it for a long drive.

Dunlap tried to scoop and score on that fumble. Really our only hope of scoring at the moment. Nice to see the Defense getting some pressure on Lagow.

We miss Cam today, the QB run option would really help this stagnant offense. We are not going to have a passing game with the injuries and poor QB play, but a dual threat option would be one more element we don't have today.

Are we gonna have a 0-0 OT?

EDIT: Oh my God, I just checked a box score. Illinois with 31 total yards at 9:29 in the 2nd quarter.

It's to the point that I think we should just run on every down, if nothing else than to keep the clock moving and avoiding big negative plays. The Illini defense is going to wear down eventually.

I don't think I've ever seen so many injuries. Our guys are dropping like flies every game.
