This big of a crowd and weve been quiet af… Suppose we don’t know how to cheer as it’s been so long… Blame it on myself for choosing a Florida vacation instead of the beloved lol
Yeah, it’s eerie … and almost wonder if it’s a chicken-and-the-egg thing that affects the mood. Because things seem off.

We need a big play or two to engage the crowd.

Hey atleast we’re still in a bowl game. We’re making strides. Sometimes up and coming teams hit roadblocks like this.

I don’t know that we could hear the crowd over the wind. The announcers on the tOSU game commented that the tOSU players couldn’t hear, and it was because of the wind and not the crowd.

I agreed with the decision to go for it on the 2 yard line. If you don’t get it then you rely on the #1 defense in the country, especially when you have the best RB in the nation too. Arguably
I maintain it was the right call. Even if you think it's just a 45% chance to get the TD, that averages out to 3.15 points on average. If that FG is made 100% of the time (and it's not), that averages out to 3.00 points. Just gotta call the right play next time.

Ok, i changed into my winning shirt from last week. We should be good.

For those asking, it’s a weird crowd dynamic here. Quiet at times unless specifically hyped up by the big screen. We managed to get the crowds here this year, but the next step is teaching them how to be a crowd.

7 points on 251 yards of offense. 🤔

It doesn’t feel like a game that Illinois is losing, but it certainly doesn’t feel like a game they’re winning by 20 points either. As someone else has said, Michigan State hasn’t done anything special, rather Illinois hasn’t really competed their drives.

Just win by a point and move on to next week.
