Disagree, especially after the penalty on first down.
What's the excuse on the previous possession? We had a chance to do something then as well, and chose not too. They proved they can move the ball in that direction against the wind, because they did score a TD. Have to attack more and we are not doing it. gave them a chance, got screwed by the officials and then gave up a TD on the next play. That's not winning football. Keep attacking and not give them the opportunity to come back. now all the momentum is on their side.

It was a terrible call but terrible calls happen in all sports at all levels. It's unfortunate. It is not a conspiracy. And most importantly it is beyond Bielema's control.

What he does control is our strategy. And he has often employed a cautious strategy with a small lead (imo sometimes far too cautious). It didn't work out this time, and I think with that much time on the clock and Purdue having all their timeouts we should have been more aggressive in moving the ball on the preceding possession.

I think 2nd half we blitz more and get pressure. Their qb does not have great pocket awareness and has thrown 1 actual Int 2 that could have been and 1 that was but wasn’t

That's exactly my point above. You play scared, you're going to lose.

That was a big game changing call. But coaches always say one play doesn’t cost a game. How about out ineffective offense. Hard to watch us get the ball with time to score before the half and run the ball into the pile three times. Playing not to loose sucks.

I think it’s just my negativity, but I don’t think we are gonna win this game.

Too much badjuju
- The refs
- the conservative playcalling.

I don’t have a good feeling in my stomach

That was far worse than the typical blown call. I've watched the reply twenty times. Witherspoon did nothing even suggesting possible pass interference. No bumping. No pushing. No hands on jersey. No pulling. He was turned and looking at the QB, following the path of the ball. He had inside position. If here was any contact, it was the Purdue receiver pushing Witherspoon. If you saw that in real time an concluded you just saw pass interference, you don't know what the penalty is. You have no business officiating games.

forgive my ignorance but why don't we just use the same sideline our tunnel is on and the opponent use the same sideline their tunnel is on? would prevent crossing the streams when going to and from the tunnels

the refs of course taking their sweet time again.
