People also need to consider that we are, and should, keeping the playbook on O fairly vanilla. I’m hoping that’s the reason for the bland 4th down calls, though our inability to get a yard has been an issue for years now.

Yeah...if Feagin is the best option for the team in short yardage, IDGAF what his best option for the NFL is.
I care about getting the first down.

You are a fan. He's a player trying to go to the next level and is taking a huge chance in changing positions mid college career. He's got to move on from being a running back and has to be accountable for sealing the edge in their blocking scheme and finding a seam in his route running. Our backs, that are backs, have to be able to pick up a yard.

As a reminder, he was awful in short yardage situations last year. You're assuming he's the best option because we've gotten stuffed. He's not moving on from being a RB because he was excelling at the position.
