Even though the Illini defense has played decently, Wisconsin probably has almost 100 yards rushing in the quarter.

missed wide open receiver for td on offense, penalty on 4th and 4 for a first down on defense... two plays that kind of define what i have watched of this season so far

We just don't have the ability to even pretend on offense right now... I know we took a step back by starting Thomas and that was the right move. I just wish we had realized prior to the season that our only viable QB options were George and Thomas...

Jeez how many fumbles does George have? This offense just gives them no chance to win. I think they need to decide on one qb and just play him.

How many targeting calls have gone against our guys this year so far? It seems like at least once a game.

On another note, 8:15 left in the half and there are less than 2 pages of comments. *sigh* Our D looks pretty good against a top 10 team, too bad we keep shooting ourselves in the foot.

I know weather is not good but it looks like a pretty meager crowd at the game. I agree that I think interest in the football program is waning now that the initial buzz about Smith being hired has waned. The product on the field is just so bad.

I just wish on 1st and 10 on their 45ish, we'd play 4 down football.

When you are constantly undermanned and younger why not be a little risky and try to shorten the game and run the clock.

try some short gainers, maybe some options, and if you end up at 4th and 2 at their 37, then go for it. Having Wisconsin start at their 7 compared to their 37 isn't that big of a difference when their talent is so much stronger, but converting on 4th and 2 to extend the drive can be monumental for momentum and confidence.

Oh well.
