I'm here! It is cold! Wisconsin travels much better than Rutgers (obviously) but overall there are probably fewer people here. Usually I can't even connect to the internet on my phone during the game.

Defense has played well. QB play is a disaster though. At least they are playing hard and there aren't too many Wisconsin fans around me.

In a perfect world, we realize what Crouch can/can't do preseason and give the early season reps to George and Thomas from day one. They'd be much better by now if so...

Yep we lost 6 strait and had alot of boneheaded plays. Again rose bowl 2 years later beat RG3 and ucla n back to back bowls. ........... much better than what ive seen here n a looooooong time. Of course he was not perfect.

The 6 straight loss season was 2011. AFTER the Rose Bowl season of 2007, and the Texas (LOL) Bowl of 2010. Neither of which provided any significant recruiting benefit.

That's what I was saying I'm driving so I meant Zook helped revived a program that Ron Turner tamed into the ground. I'm sorry if I wasn't more clear

Again, that's revisionist. He didn't build a solid program, he managed to get to the RB in 2007, then went 5-7, 3-9, 7-6 (Texas LOL Bowl), and 6-6 (Kraft Fight Hunger LOL Bowl). The program was so moribund when RT was fired that "reviving" it was a pretty low bar, but Zook did such a good job clearing it that his overall winning percentage was only 2 percentage points higher than Turner's, and his conference winning percentage was only .89% higher.

But this is all academic, we have Lovie now, the frosh are playing better every week, and hopefully we have an AD and an HC that won't accept mediocrity any longer.

No excuse for this team not to have a better option than these 3. The staff had 18 months to find someone, anyone who could learn a playbook and throw a reasonably accurate pass. We would win 5 games this year with a QB that was a 4 out of 10 good. We've got one who should be 3rd string; one who is way under-prepared, but might be good in 3 years; and a TE.

So, Dudek and Smalling out for the second half. Now what?

Wow! Yes you are very correct. Went back and checked it out, guess I remember the bad plays more. Had great numbers, just can't remember many great games. Old age and years a disappointment can harden a man. My apologies.

Those 20K fans at this game might be the GREATEST fans in the world. To suffer this weather to watch this pile of doo...impressive.

So is it turning out that Gabe Megginson (spelling?) is a washout? Or is he hurt?

I'd love to be there, but a game is a full 2-3 day commitment for me. I chose the IU game in a couple of weeks instead, because what's better than getting beat by a bad team in November??? ;)

Here's where we lose the moral victory. 31-3 finish about to hit like a ton of bricks.
