Where do you see 6 or 7 conference wins coming from? I'll given one against Penn State and Rutgers....but where else?

But to your point, we're not doing a good job of preventing the other team from scoring tonight.

Or any other night this year, except Evansville picked near bottom of mvc. The coach is not adjusting his plan to fit his talent.

Two very bad games in a row...but I still think the team will get better and be competitive. However, the defensive scheme just has to be addressed. Some of you couch coaches share a few ideas. (I don’t mean that in a derogatory manner)

I was being generous. I think you're right -- 5-15 W-L record in the Big Ten is more likely.

No excuse. I just don't understand the expectations of some of you guys here. It's 8 new guys, an undersized team and every team in this tourney is more experienced, and more athletic. If our Illini aren't completely cued in, which is a lot to ask for a sophomore/frosh team, this is what will happen for most of the season.

We are going to put up two of the worst seasons in Illini history back to back. With one 100-ish recruit coming in as of now to help for next year.

But hey, at least we had unprecedented transfers, ugly recruiting stories, and a whiff of FBI stink on our coach to go with it.

Who knew we could find a way to dig from the bottom of the Weber/Groce hole.

Well, it's what we all knew to be true, but some didn't want to believe it.

When you can't rebound the ball, when you can't get easy buckets, when you can't protect the paint and when you cannot prevent easy buckets....this is what will occur.

Our frontcourt talent is sub par and that's putting it nicely. That's being very diplomatic.

Until we get bigger, stronger, faster and more skilled at the 4 and 5....these last three nights will continue to be our reality.

We are terrible on defense. So much so that I had to stop watching. I never stop watching, but tonight I just couldn't take it anymore. We make every other team in NCAA basketball look like world beaters. Underwood needs to figure something out on the defensive end because this is the worst Illinois defensive team I've seen in my lifetime.
