Terribly frustrating decisions by our team...but my Xavier is shooting the ball well. Has to be 60%+ I'd think

This one isn't on Underwood at all. Kids just aren't mentally involved on either side of the ball here.

We continue throwing that ridiculous alley oop. Once or twice that is on the kids. This many times, it is on underwood.

I don't care about turnovers forced unless they force about 30% of possessions. Otherwise the math doesn't work .

They force 23 a game and teams average like 70-75 possesions per game. I'll let you do the math.
But to your point, we're not doing a good job of preventing the other team from scoring tonight.

What specific expectations are you and others referring to? I don’t recall seeing anyone screaming that we should be 4-0. We won the game we should’ve and due to Trents performance gave Gonzaga a real scare, which likely exceeded most expectations.

I don’t believe it’s unreasonable to expect much better defense and offensive execution, if you’re willing to except that you set very low expectations for this team.

I think we are going to be EXTREMELY hit or miss on both ends based on who we are playing and when we are playing them. This is a brutal tournament for this team to play in. I think it will help us down the road.

I think that Gonzaga game did a bigger number on this team than I thought. They’ve looked tired and lost since that game. 3 games in 3 days is tough against quality opponents. Beyond the obvious flaws this team has it doesn’t seem like they’ve regrouped since Gonzaga.
