I was lukewarm on Kipper. Good Kipper is great. He just didn't come to the games consistently.

Jaylon is the first one that I think is a clear mistake. There were already enough solid guards. Jaylon does not appear to bring anything new to the table. While the team may not need another scorer, they can't afford an offensive liability who lets the other team pack the lane.

The one thing he does do well is create shots for others. We have a lot of guys that can be a bit ball dominant at times at the guard spots with Feliz, BP3, Thompson, & McCamey. Tate can keep it moving and create for others and should be able to stay with quicker guards on the defensive end, especially compared to someone like McCamey.

I don't really see him getting a ton of minutes and would have liked to have seen another 4-5 option on the roster, but he's not worthless. This team will likely run through Daum, Feliz, BP3, and Rice. Tate just needs to keep the ball moving and play solid D in the minutes he gets.

Perhaps this has been discussed already, but why isn't Malcolm Hill playing this year? Guessing prior commitment, but who knows?

To answer your first question, it's a case of it being a 16 team regional. 8 teams play Saturday, 8 teams play Sunday.

The answer to your second question is TV more than likely.

I was listening to Steve Kelly and Loren Tate’s podcast. It sounds like they are having visa issues getting Feliz back into the country. Possibility he may not be able to play.

This is old news and you've probably already seen it but just in case, Hill is getting a shot with the Pelicans in the NBA Summer League. I'm sure I'm stating the obvious, but that kind of opportunity takes precedence over TBT.

Can anyone tell me why we haven't played a game yet but other regions are into round 3 already? Dont make any sense.

I think they're maximizing the overall exposure. It's not the NCAA tourney, of course --- and they don't want games competing with one another. I glanced at the tournament format and it looks like an excellent set up.
