Do they make the tournament still? I remember reading something about RPI ranking vs an at large bid. I am not familiar with the baseball criteria
Projected a 2 seed going in, hard to imagine dropping out. Probably 3 seed now?
16 teams get seeded and host a regional round of 4 teams. Winner goes to super regional.

Our best hope right now is the idea that you have to have the B1G regular season champ in there.
D1 baseball and Baseball America both currently have Illini projected as 3 seed in Terre Haute regional. Indiana State is #15 national seed. 2 seed in regional is Vandy. 4 seed is Western Michigan.
Selection show starting at 11:00 AM on ESPN2.

Illinois placed in the Lexington regional with the #2 national seed Kentucky. Illini will face Indiana State on Friday. Western Michigan is the other team in the regional.
