Weird that (as far as I've seen) there's been no mention of this from the UI BB program, but KU spilled the beans almost a month ago.

Torvik's projected analytics say.
TSJ -15.3
Mayer-14.8
Hawk-9.6
Skyy-9.0
RJ-8.2
Ty-7.8
Goode-4.4
He also projects Illinois finishing 2nd in BIG after IU. Predicted BIG record is 14-6. I'll take that!! Nationally, he has us at a generous #13.
If the season ends with those numbers, pretty sure Hawk, RJ and Skyy will be back in orange next year. Those numbers would not scream NBA bound after the season.

Thoughts:
It cannot be over estimated the value of our coach's ability to adapt the plan yearly to the talent he has on the roster. I see this as a regular failure for other coaches / programs all the time.
So cool that he caught himself and expressed that the program is not satisfied with just a BIG title, reaching for national champ status.
Once again reminded all that we have the nation's best strength coach, the unmatched Fletch.
Got chills when he spoke of Ayo's skills as a player, but more so his accomplishments as a quality person.
This coach impresses me regularly.

I'm just speaking the truth: Rodgers is crossing a threshold of practice hype from which no Illini has ever recovered.

The Legion Horizon has been breached here folks.
Oh No!!!....we all know how that turned out

Wait, he, Torvik, predicted Indiana to go 13-7 in the Big Ten. So how can Illinois finish second in the Big Ten? Or am I missing something here?

Ya never know though. Often about so much more than points with the draft, particularly when playing alongside some vets that handle more of the scoring. After all, Bulls drafted Dalen Terry at #18 after he averaged 8 points as a soph. Jeremy Sochan, Max Christie, Peyton Watson, JD Davison, Kendall Brown, Moussa Diabate, Josh Minott, etc. -- all drafted this year after averaging around 9 pts or less. More about the skills you flash and upside potential than pure production...just ask our boy Kofi about that.

Yep, Bulls drafted Patrick Williams with 4th pick after he averaged 9.2 ppg and 4 rpg.
