To put that in perspective Harris was 4 for 20 and Rodgers was 12 for 31. Not huge sample sizes but still absolutely atrocious.

So, it looks like this is the updated schedule, with my guess on some specific dates?

Friday 11/10 vs. Oakland
Tuesday 11/14 vs. Marquette (Gavitt Tipoff Games)

(Illini MTE Event in Champaign some time between 11/17 and 11/25)
Saturday 11/18 vs. Valparaiso/WIU/SIU (MTE Event)
Tuesday 11/21 vs. Valparaiso/WIU/SIU (MTE Event)
Friday 11/24 vs. Valparaiso/WIU/SIU (MTE Event)

Monday 11/27 vs. Colgate
Saturday 12/9 vs. Tennessee
Thursday 12/21 vs. Missouri (Braggin' Rights in St. Louis, MO) ... Thursday is my guess, but it could be Wednesday 12/20?
Friday 12/29 vs. Fairleigh Dickinson

That is 10 non-conference games. It looks like we had 11 last year and 11 planned the year before (one COVID cancellation). Do people think we are more or less done, or is there any chance of any more exciting matchups getting announced such as another Power Five opponent or a United Center game?

P.S. Thought some might get a kick out of this. Northwestern and Arizona State agreed to a two-game series in NBA arenas in Phoenix (this season) and the United Center (next season). I was reading the NU board, and it was kind of funny how confident some posters were that there would have to be an Illini game on the same date to help fill up the UC, haha. Our fans REALLY showed up vs. PSU in the BTT this year, it was a literal home game.

I know that they are allowed some extra contact THIS summer due to the foreign trip.

Maybe we don't need a true PG as long as we have a Jokic Type Big in date I say Hawkins, Hansberry, Rodgers, or maybe others? Food for thought... hmm... I-L-L baby 🔶️ 🔷️ 💯 💪🏾 🔥

Are you and the poster above you suggesting that Murray is not a good point guard? Wow....! Interesting take!

BTW, I never suggested Murray made Jokic, as Jokic is clearly a much better player...one of the best players in the league, but to suggest we don't need a point guard if we have a Jokic-like big is wrong. Nugs aren't winning the Championship without Murray AND we don't have a big even remotely close to Jokic in skill level.

Murray is an awesome player. I’m suggesting he plays more like a SG.

Almost everything they do starts with Jokic.

They were a 6 seed last year w/o Murray last season. They have been 14-21 in games Joker hasn’t played in the last two years.

No one has a big man like Jokic.
