I think people put: "Woodcock says X, is this reasonable?", in the same category as "My 6 month old baby pointed at X, is it likely?" The framing of the question from first part makes people ignore the second part, even when it is a reasonable question.
If you put a few six month old babies in front of a keyboard, it wouldn't take very long for them to reproduce a Rees Woodcock article.

I am not actually convinced that Rees Woodcock is a human as opposed to a poorly-trained AI language model. GPT-0.9.

no way Goode starts over Dain, Hawkins at the 4 and Dain at the 5.
Not sure about that. Brad said that Goode was the best shooter on the team before he broke his foot last year and was penciled in as a starter last year pre-injury. Goode has an innate leadership factor and he may be our best outside shooter. That being said, whether he starts or not is not really important. He will play starters minutes. Brad has repeatedly said that he doesn't care about starters versus first guys off the bench.

Define starter minutes.

Harris' freshman year reminds me of Trent's. Both were good at getting to the rim but didn't always finish. Trent had more opportunities and responsibility and a longer leash. If Harris grows offensively like Frazier, we have a player. I think he will.
I don’t see the comparison between the two. I don’t see Harris ever becoming the 3-pt shooter Trent was (though he was inconsistent) nor being able to handle the point (Trent averaged 3 assists his first year). That’s not to say Harris won’t be a valuable piece for the team. Just two different types of players with the only real thing in common that both are plus defenders.

I expect Hawkins and Shannon to start.

I expect to be surprised at the other positions on a weekly basis.
I agree though I’d throw Ty in with those two since him at PG is the direction they seem to be going. And I really don’t care who else starts or think that it will really matter. I think we’re going to have a fairly large group that averages 13 to 25 mpg and those finishing with the third through sixth highest minutes in a game will change game to game based upon matchups, game situations and play of the team.

Even 6:29 would be great time for big man. Lou used to have basketball team run in Illini Open 5k on Orange Golf Course. It was great to run against 6'11" Derek Holcomb in his high tops.

Underwood glowing, even by his standards. Don't think he loved some of the questions related to last year, but overall seems happy and confident this group will do good things. Refreshing after some of what happened later in the season last year. Sounds like the assistants had a lot of ideas on how to improve the off-season, and it's working.

Hate to say it, but I don't buy the off-season hype much. Still too many questions in my mind. Schedule will be rough, PG, FT shooting, and shooting overall need to be better. Sounds like this team understands a lot better how they need to play, and has the potential to bully teams with physicality and a more attacking style. Underwood seems confident he has a mature group that has way more buy-in.

Looking forward to how it all plays out. Love teams that don't quit --so easy to root for as a fan, and it sounds like this year will be a big improvement in that dept.

First year Trent and Sencire were polar opposites. Trent was a top offensive option and a willing defender. Sencire is a defensive spark plug but lacks an outside shot.

I think your point still stands that their trajectory could be the same, but opposite skill sets needed growth.

I likes these interviews. I'd definitely like to see and hear from more. Seems like a more focused group that knows the roles that need to be played. Seems like they are not feeding in and buying the hype that was fed to them last year.
I could be wrong, but I feel like Ty is the leader or about to be. I think this kid took some things personally last year and he ain't about what happened last year.

Math says like a 4:40 ish mile
My guess is little slower. Harmon lists at 6'4", 180 lbs, and he never ran track at Curie HS. My guess is Harmon just barely beat Frazier, who barely beat Nnanna, so barely a sub-5, maybe 4:55 or so.
