This is a much nicer answer than mine.

I was going to point out that there isn't a whole lot else to do in Nebraska, plus they're having a good year

It's not entirely wrong though. We've seen data that Illinois fan support typically lags a couple years behind success. For Nebraska the minute there is a hint of entertainment they're all over it 🤣

In terms of a historical minnow program joining the Big Ten and embracing the love of basketball within the conference, the Nebrasketball fans are night and day from the Penn State situation, good for them.

The RAC is a tiny gym so not quite the same thing, but the Rutgers fans are really good too.

The Big Ten as something distinctive dies at the end of this week of course (sorry spring sports). In the end Nebraska and Rutgers will barely be remembered as part of what was. But they were, for a moment, and it was fun while it lasted.

I wonder how much the fall of Nebraska football has boosted their basketball. Those fans must be pissed about where that program has fallen and moving that support to the spunky underdog team makes a lot of sense. I know the worse our football team is the closer I follow hoops.

Give Hoiberg just a little bit of talent and he will figure out a way to score points. Dude can coach.

The options here are definitely limited. You don't end up with Carhenge without some seriously unhealthy levels of boredom.

Nebraska is a volleyball state now. And the AD leaving for Texas A&M is objectively hilarious.
