Brad will, undoubtedly, not win the Coach of the Year award again, but I think inarguably he was the best coach. Not only did he improve from 6th last year to outright 2nd this year and won 3 more games in the conference (only matched by Nebraska), but he also kept the team together despite everything happening with TSJ, his best player. The coaching job it took to keep the season afloat when TSJ was out, including changing the offense, was spectacular. Couple that with dealing with the emotions and game plan of reintegrating TSJ and it was a masterclass of flexibility, pragmatism, motivation, and emotional intelligence. Brad's a heck of a coach. What he's done over the past five years has been massively underappreciated. No other coach had to deal with what he had to this season.
