Not a real surprise. TSJ did miss 6 games and had issues getting going for about 4 after that. There was about 10 games of 31 that aren't a part of an otherwise incredible resume. So, the sports writers have an excuse other than the allegations against him to keep him off their team and don't have to offer any other explanation. Not sure any of these publications will have the guts to put him on their team - maybe the NABC could select him. I do note that Brandon Miller of Alabama was selected as a consensus All-American last year, but he was not arrested and didn't miss games.Bleacher Report released their picks for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team All-Americans. TSJ nowhere to be found.
If it is just the eye test, TSJ is a first team All-American. He may just have to show out in the tourney to get the attention he is due.
