That's insane!!!!
Given the student interest, I'd like to see the students be allocated a larger share of the tickets next year. For that matter, I'd give the students first shot at tickets, and then sell the remainder to the public. Yes, this would likely reduce revenue. Who comes first, the students or revenue? If the latter, why reserve any tickets for students?

The donors come first obviously. Which is true throughout.
I agree that the donors come first at the moment. I'm questioning whether they should come before the students for two reasons:

1) In theory this is the student sports team by/for the students.
2) Those students are the future donors. How much will someone who couldn't get tickets as a student care about the team in the future (or now)? Will this significantly impact future donations?

I'm become a lifelong fan. Would it have happened if I couldn't get the cheap tickets as a student? Probably not. (No way could I afford public admission prices as a student.)

Cynically, you've gotta worry about the money today more than the money tomorrow. We also have the benefit of a pretty large stadium for college basketball. In the long run, it's better to take the money to fund the team than give away more tickets and fall further behind financially.

And it's been said in so many of these cases, but leaving aside the merits of the case, there is absolutely no reason the NCAA's decision making process has to drag on for so long in these cases, it's absurd.

It would be a shock if Ivisic were declared eligible in time for the beginning of the season, that's just the reality.

And this really might be the case where the NCAA tries to draw a line. It being the twin brother of someone they already cleared seems perfect for the NCAA doesn't it?
Hopefully he gets cleared. The good news is if it’s delayed, Morez gets as many minutes as he can handle and a trial by fire development. He’s gonna have to play and figure it out if he’s ready or not.

When T gets cleared, we add another piece to the roster who can help us in different ways after Morez got all his game experience.
