Ty actually shot the ball more in high school and had a decent shot. From his scouting report in high school on 247 it says hes best at mid and close range scoring, but isnt a reliable long range shooter at this point but his range is improving.

Again im not saying he needs to shoot a bunch but just make the defense respect you so they cant completely clog the lane. Can only help if he gains a shot.

If he can shoot enough that other teams don't feel comfortable guarding him with a 5 man it's a win.

Ok, I am also 60+ and Bloody Mary's are pretty much my only drink now. Here you go: start with a Bloody Mary mix (there are many good ones, regular or spicy, Mix has more full body flavor than just tomato juice and I can drink some of them straight instead of tomato juice, which I don't drink), a decent vodka, then add a couple tablespoons of worcestershire, a couple tablespoons of pickle brine, a couple shakes of celery salt (or Taijin), then a splash of tobasco, and a little horseradish (adjust tobasco and horseradish to the "bite" you like), then a celery stick and a couple olives. I don't like a charcuterie board in my drink. That's all I got today.
So many wonderful things in this comment but you need to toss that Tabasco in the trash... Lots of better hot sauces to use and I personally think Tabasco is terrible. That's just my 2 cents but I would definitely mess with that bloody you described

I feel like I must have fallen asleep when Dra was in near the end of the year because I keep seeing people say he showed flashes late, and I just didn’t see it. He didn’t get lost as much on D and seemed to give good effort on that end, but I didn’t think results were great. I can’t remember if he was battling an injury, but he didn’t play much down the stretch of regular season after going 2 for 11 against Mich and PSU. He did play in conf and NCAA tourney, but other than the two 3s against Morehead, I didn’t see him do all that much. Again, maybe I was dozing.

I’d love to see him take a step forward in year 2 and he does seem to have the mental makeup for that to happen. A smaller guard with some jitterbug to his game off the bench would be a nice piece to have, especially on D against other smaller guys. But I need to see more from him to believe it will happen. As always though, I’ll be cheering that it does.
That's why it's called flashes.

Based on what? Did he take literally one shot from the elbow and beyond all season. If he got the ball outside of the arc, he's eyes NEVER went to the rim. That's a mentality to not want to shoot that shot in the game. If he was 8 of 37 his freshman year and 15 of 50 last year, then yes, it's improving. Not the case. He's an intangible guy that EVERY team needs. To expect him to be a reliable, three level scorer just isn't going to happen.

Good choices. Ty's smile is infectious, Kylan will be a leader. Would not have been surprised to see DGL on the list, he has developed some media skills, but I bet they're saving him for next year.

On the WBB side, good choices too, and as a reminder last year's three attendees will be returning for their covid years. That team is stacked, old, talented, ready for a huge year. Gonna have to start following that board every day too

Dissing Tobasco is blasphemy. New Iberia, LA and Tobasco history alone makes it wonderful.

I use that shjtt on EVERYTHING........ hahahaha

Well, most everything.... I like Cholula, Tapatio & El Yucateco a lot, and have recently taken a REAL liking to all of the Melinda's sauces! Some good stuff out there. I wonder what sauces they stock in the players dining areas???? Anyone know? Someone should do segments with the basketball team asking them what their fave hot sauces, salad dressing, pickles, candy bar, etc.... are. Kinda like that Illini grad dude does on the wing sauces.

My wife likes Bloody Mary's, so I make them for her. She prefers V8, so I add A-1, lemon juice, and horse radish, celery salt and whatever vodka we have. It's quick and easy to make and then I can pour my bourbon and enjoy it in peace.

No idea if you would ever have any reason to be down that way, but the best Bloody Mary I've ever had is from a tiny little brunch spot called The Iron Whisk in Cobden, IL. It has just enough smokiness to cancel out the off-putting sweetness of the tomato juice without going overboard. Their food is great also.
Uncle Ritchie’s in Lockport makes a good one . they put a little brandy in it

He already has my respect for sticking around. But, IMO, he will need to take a huge step to be part of the regular rotation, especially considering the talent (presumably) in front of him.
There should be some minutes for DGL - fortunately for DGL Playing time is impacted by 2 good starters (KJ and Boswell) and possibly some Rodgers minutes at guard.
