Maybe I'm in the minority but I think Brad needs to start doing more with all the talent he finds.
I'm not saying they should move on from Brad and I think he's bought himself at least 2 years of comfort but if it's more of the same then that seat might be very warm in a few years.
If you look at this year you have a ton of excuses you can make with Tomi getting mono, team illnesses, injuries, etc but the truth is that the team underperformed their talent level(2 first round picks plus more) and had entire games where it didn't even seem like they wanted to play. The Duke game was obviously a national embarrassment but the USC, Rutgers, and Nebraska losses were also just inexcusable as they just got outworked from the tip.
The Shannon/Domask team was a fun run but it still ended with a 30 pt drubbing by UConn(albeit a great UConn team that was a bad matchup for the Illini), but is that something Brad is capable of repeating or was that unique because he had Shannon? (Shannon was the most dominant perimeter player in the country and nPOY caliber guy that could take over games just by getting downhill.
The year before that he had a very talented team with Shannon, Mayer, and Coleman and they fell apart/failed to play up to their talent level. Prior to that I think Kofi's final team was actually pretty mediocre and they overachieved and were able to win a conference title in a weak Big10 year(Kofi was a unique matchup problem but I never thought that team was a threat to make a run). Then you have the 1 seed team who had a great year only to get completely embarrassed by Loyola in a game that was never competitive(that game is the biggest blemish on Brad's record imo because he got completely outclassed by Moser).
