Why isn’t a Honda dealer all over this? Why hasn’t the local Honda dealer been all over an NIL dealer of some sort deal on the Honda Civić?

I follow PGC Basketball on Insta because they have great content about bball strategy. Found this feature about Illinois basketball. Enjoy!

both put a lot of emphasis on Nebraska not being at full strength over the last 2 games. I assume neither one of them were alerted to the fact that Kylan hasn't played in 5 games and may not play for another 2 to 4. But we got MU at home!
Typical.

My goal right now is 17-3 in the B1G which looks very doable.

I really hope we don’t limp into the postseason like that year when Trent Frazier had a black eye and looked like he’d gone twelve rounds in a prizefight

Last year Iowa Stare was rolling along and had a few injuries/devastating losses about this time of year. They never recovered, lost their juice, and got beat in the second round.

All of the stats don't mean sh--------i--------t if you can't make free throws. I thought this team might be the real deal but they are just like the other teams that can't hold a lead. pi-----s poor defense!
Another season of hype down the drain.

Eerily similar to that is we have been really short on our bench and playing a lot of people a lot of minutes. That team was just dead at the end of the season.
So whatever happened to all the talk at the beginning of the season about having a really deep bench.

I focused this morning on just the highlights of Wagler. I think to me, the thing that makes him a special talent is how he can shoot 3s off the dribble. He has that side step move where it’s smooth, the footwork is perfect, and at 6’6 nobody can challenge it. And he’s shooting 43% on 3s. Most guys are catch and shoot shooters. He’s off the dribble which is much harder and he still makes it look easy. 6’6 Steph Curry is really the highest praise anyone could put on a player but that’s really who he reminds me of. He doesn’t blow by people off the dribble, but he gets by anyone fairly easily at his own pace and handles the ball well in traffic. As he gets stronger he will really be a load finishing.

I may sound like a homer but I could see the case for taking him #1 bc I think his ceiling could be more developed than the other top freshmen. Boozer already appears fully developed. Same with Peterson. Dybantsa probably will be a better defensive player at that level just given his body type.

Steph Curry lasted till #8. But the NBA was different back then. Now with the game really being about 3s basically, it’d be a pretty easy sell to a GM that we got an 18 year old that plays like a 6’6 version of Curry

Last year, Iowa State didn't have Keshon Gilbert for the tournament at all and Lipsey was hurt, but played. They were in the same location as Illinois last year(Milwaukee).

They literally never recovered. It wasn't a matter of just losing juice and not getting in the same page. Hopefully, we don't lose anyone of that note/importance outside of the prior month.
