Some folks consider that a lucky game for ILL.

Luther Head's leap of excitement is always my favorite part of this clip. Dude was playing on a bum leg almost the whole game.
The problem with Brown is that he's a lower-quality redundant piece of what we already have. He doesn't give us something we're missing.
That'd be Lincoln Williams. The question is if he's ready to play at this level, and can crack the rotation. The SKILL SET is valuable.
Not sure why this was posted BUT I never get tired of seeing it. The defense, heads up passes, the timely screen, the pull up, the pandemonium… such a beautiful basketball moment!
My favorite single moment in that game is when Luther gets that steal in OT & drives in for the layup to put us up like 6. Enberg's call over the top of it is just his trademark "OH MY". You could see the pain on Luther's face as he was taking it to the basket. Just an absolute warrior.Luther Head's leap of excitement is always my favorite part of this clip. Dude was playing on a bum leg almost the whole game.
I can assure you my father does not smell like elderberry.
I was gearing up to post this while reading the last few pages.

I would disagree. Hurley has definitely done the work. He earned his way in. He will stay there until we beat him.Hurley is living in Loyalty's head rent free . . .

Agreed. In the case where a team has an almost insurmountable advantage, the only way to lose is by making this kind of mistake. It's just about the equivalent of deciding to pass the ball instead of going into victory formation, leaving the opponent the chance for a return or hail mary.In this case? Yes, and it’s not even arguable.
It's Jokic if Jokic wasnt also the best passer in the NBA.Wagler + TSJ = Plenty of comps.
Kofi + Plummer= No player in the history of the world like him. Closest would be Patrick Ewing. Embiid would be another reasonable comp.
Sounds like you agree...?I would disagree. Hurley has definitely done the work. He earned his way in. He will stay there until we beat him.
Jokic is nowhere near the rim protector that Kofi was. He was a flat out intimidator that was an absolute powerhouse. He could bring a rim down. Jokic is nowhere near that type of player. Jokic is far more skilled. There's no doubt about that. It's Jokic if Jokic wasnt also the best passer in the NBA.
he can provide what Humrichous provided last year. hustle, shooting, maybe even guard somebody?
That's the way I see it - can't join the club until you beat the gatekeeper. Underwood can collect talent, that is pretty evident. Now he needs to show he can lead a talented team into the upper tier. Beating Sampson was a nice first step.I would disagree. Hurley has definitely done the work. He earned his way in. He will stay there until we beat him.
I don’t disagree…I was being sarcastic.he can provide what Humrichous provided last year. hustle, shooting, maybe even guard somebody?
Not sure logic enters into a question about most satisfying. Even if Hurley wasn’t a jerk and I didn’t have a couple of acquaintances who are UConn fans, it isn’t really close for me — UConn. Win over Duke (NET) and/or Michigan (conference) might have more impact, but turning the table on UConn would be more satisfying. And if we meet UConn in tourney again, finally having a win over them could help the psyche.Logically it is duke. We would also then be 3-0 at Cameron while having a losing record against Duke overall which would be an awesomely silly stat.
However despite that I really want to shed the uconn monkey. Spank those punks.
I mean you brought it up againWas just checking in to see if we were back to discussing Illinois again yet or still sniffing Hurley Musselman jock straps
