All the years, all the posts from engineers and (especially this TSJ year) lawyers, finally the Finance guys can speak up. This describes an income statement, not a balance sheet! ;)

Lol, I have to say I laughed at that and then wondered if the joke was actually somehow on me because I couldn’t believe he actually wrote that.

Ayo, Kofi, Trent, Curbelo, Miller, DMFW, Grandison, Giorgi, baby Coleman......man what an absolutely STACKED squad looking back.

Curse you Sister Jean (and I mean it)
Yeah, all one has to do is go look up our three BTT games from that year on YouTube, either the highlights or the full games, which are all available:

#3 Illinois 90, Rutgers 68
#3 Illinois 82, #5 Iowa 71
#3 Illinois 91, #9 Ohio State 88 in OT

And none of this is to mention the three games before that where we won three road games vs. ranked teams, including demolishing #2 Michigan in Ann Arbor without Ayo. We were HUMMING along and playing some of the best basketball I have ever seen an Illini team play. Ayo, Kofi, Trent, Belo ... didn't matter ... we looked unstoppable. Even in the OSU game, which was our closest game by far obviously, we went up 25-9 to start! I specifically remember reading the national Rivals message board and a fan saying something to the effect of, "Okay, damn ... Illinois is REALLY good."

There is a reason almost 20% of brackets had us winning it all that year ... we looked like a team that was going to tear through the NCAA Tournament. The Elite Eight this year and conference titles since then have helped to ease the sting, but man ... that Loyola loss was truly tragic.

on safari iOS it doesn’t show up 🤷🏾‍♂️ 😞
For iOS Safari you have to use an extension. I use one called Dark Night which works pretty well for most websites. Occasionally you will have to turn it off for specific sites to make them readable but in general it does a good job and works pretty well on this board in particular. Would get you by until an official solution anyways. Screenshot below of what this board looks like with it.

Any offseason trips planned this year? I heard some talk about how that helped with team chemistry with this last group and think it'd be something great for a whole new group of guys to experience.

Isn't there a restrict something like every 4 years?

It does look like there is a restriction on foreign trips, once every 4 years. There are other locations that teams travel within the bounds of a US commonwealth/territory (think Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands).

I keep waiting for a Finance person specializing in non-profit / government accounting (not me) to say "well, actually...".
As someone who has spent several years in that realm, I'm just going to leave that one be. It's a foreign language. :)

And that is why I say 2021 is still the best team of the Underwood era.

That whole series was dynamite. JJ Reddick knows all the ball. Lebron, too, of course!
The funniest part of it is how sassy and dismissive LeBron is about anyone who isn't a world-historical basketball savant like him. Must be fun to be his teammate!
