Crazy stat of the day is MSU hasn't beat us in football in 3,019 days. Gonna miss Barker here.

Wow that is very annoying. Hard to wish a kid well when they transfer in conference. Seems like a slap in the face. And don’t tell me it’s for academic reasons. He’s obviously trying to go pro and working toward that.
he's got talent ......he's also very immature and I base that on the numerous taunting penalties he got when lovie was here.......can't remember if he got any this past year , and I agree hard to cheer for him now at another conference foe......Booooooooo

That's true of every TE at Illinois since Cap Boso (only a slight exaggeration). The flip side is that he was criminally underutilized at Illinois.

snarky, I like itI hope we play a tribute video for Barker when he returns to Memorial Stadium in November

Well you have to remember we don't play them every year. We played them in 2019 and 2016 winning both of those. Before that the last time we played them was in 2013 and MSU won. lol So yah.. We do play them next year so let's keep that streak going. For real?
Flip side, totally new OC and QB with a head coach that likes to utilize tight ends. He deserves to do what he wants and I agree our passing offense and tight end usage was atrocious. I just don’t have to like his transfer to a conference foe.The flip side is that he was criminally underutilized at Illinois.

Not sure why but it makes me feel good to see a Cap Boso reference. Thank youThat's true of every TE at Illinois since Cap Boso (only a slight exaggeration).
"Cap Boso. What a name!"-- Coach DitkaNot sure why but it makes me feel good to see a Cap Boso reference. Thank you
My impression. Some talent. Made a few catches. Not reliable (taunting penalties). Doesn't like to grind (ie. block). Buh-bye.he's got talent ......he's also very immature and I base that on the numerous taunting penalties he got when lovie was here.......can't remember if he got any this past year , and I agree hard to cheer for him now at another conference foe......
oh well , next .........................................................
Yeah I put this 100% on Peterson. Lucky we somehow kept Luke Ford. How a high major OC can’t figure out a way to scheme 2 of his biggest matchup problems into consistent usage is beyond me.The flip side is that he was criminally underutilized at Illinois.
It's true!
