The powder blues look nice aesthetically, but they're very much doing it just for the sake of doing it. That always makes it tough to get on board.

Man watching these interviews can be so painful sometimes. How many ways can the media pick at a player’s scabs? Probably 3/4 of that interview with Art was asking about how everything was or is so difficult. It’s like each interviewer had his question lined up about the injury, suffering, frustration, etc and wouldn’t let it go when it was addressed by the last question. And then they want to ask him what sucks about being away from home. What a buzzkill.

That said, you gotta love how upbeat he still keeps himself in these interviews. Seems genuinely excited to get going.

Frankly, I've always found sports reporters to be generally awful in their questions... Yet they have a tough job given the fans desire for information, and the fact that there's NOT much you can talk about with the coaches and the athletes... Really!

Since coming back to Central Illinois and getting involved with my Illini family in all aspects. This spring team is the 1st spring team that I've watched and say, "they look like Big10 football players and team". They have put in the work to transform physically and mentally! I do believe this will be a difficult year, but a building block for future success! Kudos to the players, staff, and administrators. We have a great group of Illini men to carry the fight. See you at the spring game.
SHOW UP!

Wow, these guys repeating the same damn health questions to Art, need their darn press pass pulled and spoken to! Goodness man. Good attitude and looking forward to him being healthy. I feel he can be special!
Sitkowski seems like a sharp good dude. You can't help but root for his success. Would have been nice to hear an actual question about football..
.like what he needs to improve on in his game...his strengths and weaknesses.

Definitely needs to stop double clutching throws and to work on his release.

Just read Werner’s interview with Coach McDonald. Really liked the way he described Lunney’s offense. Also nice to see some good words about Brian Hightower. I had big hopes for him last year based on the way he finished the previous year. Obviously that didn’t pan out. Hopefully he stays healthy and along with Pat Bryant can give the Illini a very solid+ top 4 WRs.
