Know one of the receivers he recruited entered the portal a few weeks ago. Looks like he helped recruit some decent RB/WR for this years signing class.

Not just your opinion. It is a fact. A guy with 20 years of college experience and tremendous recruiting background versus a high school head coach brought in to get some recruits (only some of whom he got). This is a massive upgrade. He loved the feel of C-U (hence Littyville) and did a great job in a horrible environment. Looking forward to what he can do here!
Is there an over/under on how quickly this hire pays dividends or do we anticipate this will take some time to rebuild momentum?
He can hit the ground running as he has always recruited Illinois no matter what school he has been at.
