I am thinking Newton will stay with NIL help and a possibility of being a AA. 1st round if he stays another year.Remaining Decisions
Adams (likely back)
Pearl
I. Williams (likely back)
Coleman
Newton (likely gone)
Randolph
Am I missing anyone?

Ok, let's get this started. Who will start opposite Bailey at Safety next year?
Did Turner have to sit out since we are his 3rd school? Thought we would see him out there this yearTurner.
you basically have to re-recruit your entire roster every January , in the end of season conferences with the coaches and player, and the ones you really want back need to be informed of that. I dont think we would lose him to the NFL, but he could have entered the portal if he didnt think he had a decent chance at lots of playing timeCan’t spell Slaughter without laughter!
Good to have him back. (I wasn’t aware he was one of our guys to watch for a decision)
Really insightful, thanks for sharing! Not sure where to post this but my phone sent me this link because algorithms I guess.
Good insight into what Bret looks at and our practices.

I would drop Purdue behind Nebraska. That cupboard is BARE. Otherwise, looks reasonable to me.The Big 10 West is so darn competitive and balanced right now. Plus, portal movement will continue for a while longer. Still, wondering how the early prognostications will shake out for the 2023 season. I recall we were a consensus pre-season #6 a year ago in 2022, ahead of only NW.
Just speculating......
1. Minnesota
2. Wisconsin
3. Iowa
4. ILLINI
5. Purdue
6. Nebraska
7. Northwestern
Plug in Pearl. I bet he stays! Pearl, Crisler, Jones, Slaughter, Adams. Shuster as a rotation piece. Whitenack possibly a rotation piece too. The line is starting to shape up like the type pf O-Line Bielema really likes!Well, forget about what i said about Johnson as he committed to Mizzou.
I agree. Iowa and Illinois at the top. Wisky possibly if they can transition well under Fickell. Minnesota list their top rusher (right?) but I don’t know much else.I see it as Iowa's to win or lose. They will have the defense and a respectable offense. Wisconsin has to many questions. Minnesota? Nah. I would put Illinois over Minny.
With another portal session coming up post spring ball I think Wisconsin could be able to turn their roster around within the year. Which is just bananas but is what the new CFB is. Teams can get good really fast.I agree. Iowa and Illinois at the top. Wisky possibly if they can transition well under Fickell. Minnesota list their top rusher (right?) but I don’t know much else.
Sounds like a d@mn solid line whichever 1 gets the spot! This is awesome news! With Pearl back the only question is who will get the last spot on the OL between Schuster and Slaughter?
