Love this. I am going to try to get the wife down for the Penn State game. We went to the Purdue disaster last year and both had fun, but I would like to show her Memorial Stadium when I cannot see snow flurries.
I have also never experienced Grange Grove when it's warm out, so I really want to!EDIT: What in the LITERAL $*(&#$(*, lol ... a room at the Hyatt for the PSU weekend is literally $800 per night.

I'm guessing it's the latter. That is one of those "early" Big Ten conference games, and I think there's a good chance of it being a night game (I believe Robert alluded to this). If we can be undefeated going into that game and it's a night game, we very well might get our first sellout since 2016 ... at least 55k+.

There are actually a lot more decent Airbnb options in Champaign (including pretty nice/clean apartments Downtown) than I remember in years past. If we are able to go, we will probably do that.

Those are going to be more expensive on game weekends as well. I'd look to see if there are Airbnb/VRBO's in the outlying smaller towns like Mahomet, Monticello, Tolono, Danville, etc. Well, maybe not Danville.
