Love this. I am going to try to get the wife down for the Penn State game. We went to the Purdue disaster last year and both had fun, but I would like to show her Memorial Stadium when I cannot see snow flurries. I have also never experienced Grange Grove when it's warm out, so I really want to!If you invest in your program and win, they will come.
ouch try and compare that to one of the mid major home games.. See if that's just them thinking they are the Waldorf Astoria in New York (guessing it's still around? heh) OR if they are just price hiking for it being PSU weekend.Love this. EDIT: What in the LITERAL $*(&#$(*, lol ... a room at the Hyatt for the PSU weekend is literally $800 per night.
I'm guessing it's the latter. That is one of those "early" Big Ten conference games, and I think there's a good chance of it being a night game (I believe Robert alluded to this). If we can be undefeated going into that game and it's a night game, we very well might get our first sellout since 2016 ... at least 55k+.ouch try and compare that to one of the mid major home games.. We drove all the way from Bethesda just because of that.Love this. I am going to try to get the wife down for the Penn State game. There are actually a lot more decent Airbnb options in Champaign (including pretty nice/clean apartments Downtown) than I remember in years past. If we are able to go, we will probably do that.We drove all the way from Bethesda just because of that.
Those are going to be more expensive on game weekends as well. I'd look to see if there are Airbnb/VRBO's in the outlying smaller towns like Mahomet, Monticello, Tolono, Danville, etc. Well, maybe not Danville. There are actually a lot more decent Airbnb options in Champaign (including pretty nice/clean apartments Downtown) than I remember in years past. Thanks for sharing! For junkies like me that can’t get enough of listening to coach B this is worth your time. A few too many Robert stories mixed in, but I appreciate him for getting the interview and sharing it.
Bret is one of a kind and we are fortunate to have him.
Dinner With Coach Bielema
Coach Bielema and I went to dinner last night and talked football (and life). This is that conversation.audioboom.com
Sorry, I had meant from Bethesda to State College for a game up there. I completely missed where this was.We drove all the way from Bethesda just because of that.

Air BnB sounds like a brilliant alternative.
Right now, unfortunately, they are calling for storms. Hope that changes.Spring game is on BTN at 7:30 Thursday night. I really hope it’s decent weather so we can see what these guys can really do.
