Well then it should be 2.14 seconds per team. We only got .5 seconds. This just confirms how much the B1G hates Illinois. /s
Gotta account for the 4 seconds of intro/outro + the 10 seconds of the band in the 36 second video. That leaves 22 seconds remaining for the 14 teams. 1.5 seconds per team and we only got .5.

Typical.

Ah, the old personal choice argument. People in poor health, based on personal choices they make, place a greater, unnecessary burden on our health system which drives up costs. Sorry to have derailed the thread. My thoughts come from a good place. I'll say no more.
Incredibly ironic post in a football thread. Very few if any sports ask their participants to be healthy. They want bodies that excel in the narrow dimension of human physiology the sport measures and damn the long term consequences. Football is one of the worst i.n this regard.

Just because organized sports can be a mental, physical and emotional meat grinder doesn't mean I shouldn't care about the health of all involved and want them to make wise choices.

Can't wait to hear this every year or two about the whole OL because that is Bielema Ball
Yeah, knock on wood and all ... but I am super excited at the idea of having TRUE stability and knowing "who we are" year in and year out. (Almost) Every program has ups and downs year by year, but the severe hills and valleys we've had have been truly emotionally taxing, lol.

It has to create a challenging dynamic when a few players are getting big $ and others not much of anything.

I'm sure it does/can, but what better system than a meritocracy?

I fully understand that meritocracies are not perfect. Fairness is in the eye of the beholder.
