What time frame do the game time typically get announced? Curious because my wedding will be Oct 26th and although my fiancé is also an Illini fan she has said no TVs once the ceremony and reception start

That's easy to avoid. Just schedule the wedding at midnight with the reception after. You will be totally clear of the game, which is, after all, the important event of the day. You can thank me later.

at Oregon. 3:30 start earliest possible? Could be a night game, Might still be playing at midnight!

And please dont watch 1 second of the game. Forget about the game and enjoy your wedding. The game doesn’t matter.
Record and watch the next few days, if really have a desire. Or watch together afterwards with some friends and fill each other in about wedding details lol.

Absolutely don't attempt to watch a football game on the day of your wedding. Your new wife is your priority my man.

We have season tickets together so if its early enough she would be sitting right next to me watching (she's louder than me at bball games lol).
First of all, congrats. Not all marriages last for a variety of reasons. But when they do, like mine has for soon to be 50 years, you look back and realize that making, providing for and otherwise supporting your family made you the man you are proud to be.

So everyone at the reception will be watching on their phones.

Wait, is she a fan? Or a true Illini? You might cut her some slack on the wedding deal, but she owes you bigtime. Just don't ever collect. Just leave the debt on the ledger...with a smile.

Ouch...

It's just an opinion. I'm not going to take this too seriously because we all know the football program is much better now than it was just a few years a go.

If you think we have it rough….
lol, say something without saying something.

Just my opinion but I think we’ll at the min finish higher than UCLA and Maryland. Indiana and Mich St. We have a QB and a Good RB. We have some big shoes to fill but it’s not like we are totally void of talent.

These articles are utter BS. Tell me why Minnesota, Purdue, - essentially 9-16 are in better shape to compete than us? They aren’t. Iowa and Wisconsin are also not untouchable. Penn State has hit a glass ceiling and while Michigan will most always be up there, there is great uncertainty as to what the new coach can do. Recall even mighty Michigan suffered through the RichRod years.

Finally - such a knowledgeable article but apparently NW is no longer part of the Big Ten??

I assumed NW would fill the 18 spot, like these articles were getting released one at a time. But I did not read the article.
