Well a Thursday game is not the best,but I will be in my seat. Coming from Louisville isn’t that bad of a drive.

yea - likely every B1G school has to host a Thur night once every x years as per the TV deal . same with Fri night
Ensuring each game is at least streamed over a crummy, jerky feed like Peacock. I’m tempted to boycott Thursday games on principle, despite season tickets, being retired, and living less than 90 minutes away. I’ll do Fridays, but weekdays?

Yes and no. TV wants teams for the Thurs. night slot and makes the offer. Schools, however, are not required to accept (at least that has been the case previously).
Actually weekdays are better. i never go to a place like Costco on weekends. Weekdays are prime time for road cyclists.
I‘m torn between supporting the team and refusing to support the idea of weeknight football games. They’re just not necessary. The only driver is big money, the thing that’s going to ruin the sport.

unless you didn’t have to do it once every x years or unless TV wasn’t funding it with a special bonus , why would a team ever voluntarily move a Saturday game to a Thursday night ?
the antagonists point of view: or maybe game times/dates move and since i cant drive there and home and make it to work
before or after, i don't buy tickets any more. perhaps the university/athletic department should cater to their customer?

I'm not a fan of Michigan, but they could also fill that stadium at 6:30AM on a Monday.

This isn’t fan or admin friendly but I couldn’t care less about fans being inconvenienced by game day choices. I’m here for our team having the best schedule to optimize rest and create prep advantages against their opponents. Play half the schedule on a Wednesday for all I care, I’m here to squeeze out a sixth win when it’s needed most.
