How is Clement doing? I was excited to get him in the portal, but I don’t seem to be hearing a lot about him. Most talented as a whole.
He’s fine. Was banged up in the spring. Full go now. Versatile can playing inside and on the perimeter. How is Clement doing? I was excited to get him in the portal, but I don’t seem to be hearing a lot about him.
Bielema mentioned "we've moved Hudson Clement outside and he's looked really really good."He’s fine. Was banged up in the spring. Full go now. Versatile can playing inside and on the perimeter.
For more context…it was for Elzy with his hammy.Bielema mentioned "we've moved Hudson Clement outside and he's looked really really good."

They've been keeping Bowick hype under lock and key! His film when healthy last year was tantalizing. 6'5 and built like a grown man, he's a nightmare RedZone mismatch !X- Elzy, Capka-Jones
Z- Bowick/Clement
Slot-Dixon, Beatty
Bret/Stepp/Lunney have all talked about him a bitThey've been keeping Bowick hype under lock and key! His film when healthy last year was tantalizing. 6'5 and built like a grown man, he's a nightmare RedZone mismatch !
That is some sheer size for a WR lineup.X- Elzy, Capka-Jones
Z- Bowick/Clement
Slot-Dixon, Beatty
That could be too. Dixon can play inside or out. Dixon and Beatty are definitely the favorites of the coaches. How illiniinquirer said it on their pod was:
X - Elzy/Bowick
Z - Dixon/Clement
Slot - Beatty/Clement
It was against Southern Illinois, who was Division 1-AA at the time.8 TDs in one game!
personally would've predicted the exact same, maybe just flip Clement and Bowick.X- Elzy, Capka-Jones
Z- Bowick/Clement
Slot-Dixon, Beatty
Bryant was no superstar before last year.I agree while we don’t have a Pat Bryant this year - we have a lot of depth with experience. Hopefully it leads to distributing the ball all over the field and hard to cover- I would think Luke feels comfortable with 5/6 guys this year in the WR room alone then the TE room as experience as well
Clement
Beaty
Dixon
Elzy
Bowick
Hollins
Capka- Jones
No superstars, but lots of guys who can get open and catch the ball
We should beat Duke; I just don't know if we will. Would hate to see a clunker so early in the season.Welcome to the Illinois Football 2025 thread

I didn't remember Laughery had that kind of speed. Yards after contact? I don't know.
Agree. Impressive intellect.Trimble just sounds so mature and thorough. Very good player.
Just a reminder of what this program can be!!! For those counting, that was 8 wins in 12 years vs OSU, and 5 in a row (the Herbstreit years).Only 15 days until Illinois football.
