After a pretty disappointing weekend last week, well to be fair Pieters did have a good weekend and squeaked into the top 10, We have no golfers to pull for. D.A. was our only hope and honestly heading into the back yesterday he was on the cut, alas he stumbled and we are all left rooting for Speith! at least I am.

Campbell and Guthrie are -5 and T-17, while Langley and Hardy are -4 and T-30. Outside of Hardy these guys need some seriously high finishes to get in the chase for a the top 25. New year but money counts from the wrap around.

Campbell started off hot but doubled the 12th. He birdied the 16th and is 4 strokes out at -6. He is playing the back 9 first. Hardy, Guthrie and Langley tee off in the afternoon. Good starts by all.
Yeah Campbell is on a roller coaster today, +1 now after a couple more bogeys, he needs to finish strong today to not shoot himself out of this. A top 20 would do his confidence a world of good

Hardy again making a move.
He ended even and still at -5. He is very inconsistent which Nick has gotten off the roller coaster this last year and early in this year. He has played solid. Brian needs to level off his ups and downs.
Nick is playing solid today with a -3 after 11 holes. He is three back of the lead at -7. If he can throw another couple birdies on the board, he will be right there with the leaders.

Yeah, Campbell did make the cut and he desperately needs it. Hardy is still in a very nice position, but hasn't got that win to put this to bed. He is 16th in the top 25. That finish in the last tournament where he gave back a ton of strokes and took a way a high finish kinda stalled his momentum. This is his first missed cut in a while and only by a stroke, he needs to keep plugging and log some top 20s/10s.

But Hardy fired a closing round 60 yesterday! just snuck him into the top 20 after making the cut on the number. He was quickly dropping down in the race for the top 25 so that was a needed result.
Detry has made the cut but is just in neutral in the Euro event. Having been following him closely this past year he seems to make a large amount of big mistakes. Currently has had a double all three rounds in this Tournament. You have to make so many birdies to counteract those in a Tour event, puts extreme pressure on your game.
Langley and Hardy but made the cut on the Korn Ferry, Both -5 entering today and tied for 35. Both need a big weekend, Langley needs some really big weekends.

Nick has dropped a few spots in the Korn Ferry rankings as he is now 19. He needs a top 10 to get back going in the right direction. Langley needs a win to help his chances in securing a tour card
He played well yesterday on a very tough day to score. If he could have kept that bogey off late round he would be in the top-15. As it is he T-20 and that is useful. Back to back weeks in the top 20 if he has a solid round today.
Langley needs to go low and get a very high result today. Fingers crossed, I like his game.
