Besard is currently T2 after 2 rounds at -6, doing well in his qualifier. Feagles is also in good shape to advance. Dylan Meyer had a good day, but is still one stroke short with 2 rounds to go.

Also, Detry and Hardy both tee up at the Zozo Championship in Japan in a few hours. Good luck gents!

Matthis continues to crush it at Q-school:

One note (just looked this up) - finishing first or tied for first in this stage will award an exemption for the first half of the PGA Americas season (formerly PGA Canada/PGA Latinoamerica). Top 20 and ties advance to second-stage next month.

Must be a tough course....Hardy has only had 2 birdies thru 3 rounds....and both of those were in round 1. He is usually a birdie machine.

Hardy finished T41, and Detry T51, taking home $27K and $17K respectively. Hardy jumped one spot to 53rd on the Fedex Fall list and is in great shape to stay in the Top 60. Detry fell one spot to 60th, and has a little more work to do. No tournament this week, then 3 straight to close out the season.

Pieters' Range Goats team advanced to the LIV Championship finals, but fell two strokes short in a second place finish. Still a solid performance, and Pieters did well for his part.

Man, this is a tough gig! On the surface, it seemed like Hardy (T23) and Detry (T38) did well this week, but Nick dropped from 53rd to 55th and Thomas from 60th to 62nd in the FedEx Fall standings. Gotta keep grinding.

Two more tournaments left, let's see if they can finish strong! Hardy, Detry and Points all in the field this week in Bermuda.

Strick will tee it up in Phoenix for the Schwab Cup Championship, the final event for the Champions Tour this year. He holds a massive lead in the standings.

Stricker withdrew from The Schwab Cup in order to be with his ailing dad.

D.A. Points is in contention going into the weekend, tied for 6th and 4 strokes back (would've been tied for 2nd had he not double bogeyed the 18th). Nick Hardy will also make the cut, while Detry will fall 2 strokes back (play is suspended, so it'll be official in a few hours).

Dylan Meyer shot a 78 on Tuesday in Q-School, but rebounded with a 68 today. Currently 3 shots back from qualifying with 2 rounds to go. Qualifying for Final Stage will guarantee KFT status with a chance at a PGA Tour Card. Finish strong Dylan!

Q-School Second Stage just wrapped up in Florida, and Dylan Meyer pulled off an insane comeback! After shooting a 78 in round 1, he went 68-72-66 (with four birdies in his last six holes) to get to the top 15 and advance! Congrats to Dylan!

By qualifying for the Final Stage, Dylan has earned Korn Ferry Tour membership. Depending on his performance next month, he can improve his status in KFT or even earn a Tour card with a Top 5 finish.

Kuhl, Feagles, Guthrie and Besard will all start their second stage on Nov 28 (assuming Besard doesn't back out and start DP World Tour instead).

Also very nice rounds from Detry (66) and Hardy (67) today to make the cut at the RSM. At this point I assume Nick is safely in the "next 10" and will get into the two upsized events next year, while Thomas needs a really good finish this weekend to move up a few spots and qualify.

Hardy finished #57 in the fall Fedex Cup standings, qualifying for the second and third signature events next year (AT&T Pebble Beach and Genesis Invitational). Nick has already qualified for the first event (The Sentry) due to his win in New Orleans.

Detry finished #64, falling short of the first two events. Regardless, his solid season will give him higher status, as he moves from the "KFT Graduates" category to the "Top 125" category. He also will join Nick at next year's Players Championship.

Definitely looking forward to next season. Here's what it looks like so far (could change depending on how Q-school goes):
PGA Tour: Hardy, Detry, ADdC, Points (D.A. will probably be in a few fields, but he doesn't have much status)
DP World Tour: Besard
LIV Tour: Pieters
Korn Ferry Tour: Feagles, Campbell, Meyer
PGA Americas: Kuhl
Champions: Stricker (who also qualifies for the Players and PGA Championship)

Matthis Besard has withdrawn from Q-school, opting to focus on the DP World Tour. He will be playing in Johannesburg this week.

Feagles, Kuhl and Guthrie will be playing in second stage starting tomorrow. Hopefully they'll all get to join Dylan Meyer in two weeks for the finals!

Rough week for the Illini pros. Feagles, Kuhl and Guthrie all fell short in second stage, meaning only Dylan Meyer will compete in the finals next weekend. Also, Besard missed the cut in South Africa, and Hardy missed the cut at the DP World event in Australia.

Only Illini I could find for this week is Besard, who is in the field at another DP World event in South Africa.
