Nick Hardy made the cut at the Corales Puntacana Championship, currently T37. Been a rough year for Nick, who has only made one cut before this weekend. Hopefully he's turning the corner ahead of next week's Zurich Classic.

Might be a dumb question, but are these pairings determined by the players themselves, or by the tournament committee? I'd always assumed the former but I guess you'd have to wait until the whole field was set and then try to find your friends or complementary players.

Hardy/Riley finished -9 (T13), while Detry/MacIntyre finished -8 (T28). Very bunched up, as -11 would put you in a tie for third, and -7 below the cut line. Tomorrow is alternate shot, so the scores won't be as low. Hopefully both teams can make the weekend!

Just wondering what has happened to Nick Hardy this year. Has missed the cut in 10 of 13 events and will miss the cut in Myrtle Beach this week. Believe he will lose his PGA card as his 2 year exemption runs out for winning a tournament. Really thought Nick was going to be a star.
